Declaraci\u00f3n del jurado:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Alrededor de 200 obras expuestas fueron vistas, examinadas y evaluadas por el jurado en la competici\u00f3n por el Premio Estatal de Baja Sajonia a la Artesan\u00eda de Dise\u00f1o. Al final de un intenso proceso de consulta, se decidi\u00f3 el ganador. El Premio Estatal de Artesan\u00eda de Baja Sajonia 2013 se ha concedido a la maestra tejedora y dise\u00f1adora diplomada Lucia Schwalenberg, de Wennigsen.<\/p>\n

Sus obras de competici\u00f3n muestran el arte del telar manual al m\u00e1s alto nivel: el fin\u00edsimo tejido en abanico, en el que los hilos de urdimbre se desplazan dentro del tejido durante la tejedur\u00eda con un peine especial, anula el orden rectangular del tejido en favor de las l\u00edneas curvas. El sofisticado tejido de cresp\u00f3n con pintura de urdimbre e hilos de trama de cobre y seda con alma de acero confieren a los tejidos una tridimensionalidad maleable. Estructuras visibles y perceptibles con urdimbres, alturas y profundidades se encuentran en las variaciones de pa\u00f1uelos de seda y elastano, cuya inusual plasticidad resulta convincente.<\/p>\n

El tejido, uno de los oficios m\u00e1s antiguos de la humanidad, es reinterpretado constantemente por Lucia Schwalenberg. El jurado qued\u00f3 especialmente impresionado por la delicada selecci\u00f3n y combinaci\u00f3n de materiales y la alta calidad constante de los productos. Lucia Schwalenberg combina de manera especial las t\u00e9cnicas cl\u00e1sicas de tejido con la valent\u00eda de experimentar e innovar. El resultado son tejidos nobles y cl\u00e1sicos, pero al mismo tiempo innovadores y sorprendentes, que, a pesar de su exclusividad, siguen siendo funcionales y, por tanto, comercializables.<\/p>\n

\"Cuando tuvo que elegir una profesi\u00f3n, no le result\u00f3 f\u00e1cil. Me lat\u00edan dos almas en el pecho\", dice Lucia Schwalenberg riendo cuando le pregunto si siempre quiso ser tejedora. Su lista de deseos inclu\u00eda entonces el periodismo y el aprendizaje de sastrer\u00eda. Estudi\u00f3 periodismo y tuvo mucho \u00e9xito en esta profesi\u00f3n durante varios a\u00f1os: como becaria en Hessischer Rundfunk y como redactora en RTL.<\/p>\n

Pero incluso durante sus estudios sigui\u00f3 cursos de textil. En 1996 cambi\u00f3 al dise\u00f1o textil en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Artes de Hannover. Al mismo tiempo, realiz\u00f3 un aprendizaje como tejedora manual, porque quer\u00eda aprender su oficio desde cero.<\/p>\n

A unas primeras pr\u00e1cticas con la tejedora manual Karin Sandberg-Kobling le sigui\u00f3 una formaci\u00f3n en Kukate. M\u00e1s tarde, tambi\u00e9n complet\u00f3 aqu\u00ed la clase magistral. Porque incluso despu\u00e9s del diploma, no era el final para ella. Simplemente quiere conocerlo muy bien. Siento una gran veneraci\u00f3n por las antiguas t\u00e9cnicas artesanales\", dice la maestra tejedora. S\u00f3lo quiero saber exactamente c\u00f3mo funciona algo, e incluso hoy, despu\u00e9s de 10 a\u00f1os de profesi\u00f3n, sigo sinti\u00e9ndome como si estuviera buscando y aprendiendo, y como si estuviera al principio\".<\/p>\n

A Lucia Schwalenberg le mueve una curiosidad casi inagotable. Todo lo que la rodea le ofrece nuevas inspiraciones, y le interesa especialmente romper el orden rectangular y la bidimensionalidad inherentes al tejido. Y con gran pasi\u00f3n prueba nuevas ideas hasta que est\u00e1 realmente satisfecha con el resultado.<\/p>\n

A pesar de todo el af\u00e1n de perfecci\u00f3n, son tambi\u00e9n los peque\u00f1os \"errores\" los que conforman el encanto de sus piezas artesanales \u00fanicas y de sus peque\u00f1as series. Wabi-sabi, al fin y al cabo: Aut\u00e9ntico y sin pretensiones, muy desarrollado y sublimado, casi perfecto, pero con peque\u00f1as rupturas que hacen que los objetos pierdan su esterilidad.<\/p>\n

Tejer es toda una pasi\u00f3n para Lucia Schwalenberg. Se nota enseguida al ver sus bufandas y manteler\u00edas. Pero tambi\u00e9n se nota cuando se habla con ella de su profesi\u00f3n. Esto encaja con el hecho de que ha planificado estudios de postgrado en cultura innovadora del tejido en la Universidad de Arte de Linz para 2013. El premio le llega en el momento justo para financiar su formaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Y quiz\u00e1 se hagan realidad dos de sus deseos: \"Me comprometo a garantizar que este oficio creativo siga siendo valorado como profesi\u00f3n, como forma de vida y como carrera con la que uno puede asegurarse el sustento\". Por eso, naturalmente, tambi\u00e9n es importante para ella transmitir sus conocimientos a aprendices y estudiantes. En relaci\u00f3n con esto est\u00e1 el segundo deseo de su coraz\u00f3n: \"Ser\u00eda estupendo que las universidades en las que se ense\u00f1a dise\u00f1o y creaci\u00f3n volvieran a crear talleres de trabajo pr\u00e1ctico\". S\u00f3lo podemos esperar que estos deseos se hagan realidad\". Dra. Sabine Wilp.<\/p>\n
